Kaiapoi Family Doctors is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Receptionist / Administrator to join our friendly team.
This is a permanent part time position for three days (24 hours) per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
More hours will be available to cover holiday leave.
You will be helpful by nature and support our staff administratively with competence and care. You will also be a welcoming face, providing excellent customer service to our patients and their families.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / CAPABILITIES
- Excellent people skills a must
- Administration and/or reception experience in general practice/health care setting is an advantage
- Ability to cope under pressure and keep smiling
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience with MedTech Evolution is ideal but not necessary
- Confidence with cash-handling
- Pro-active individual with great initiative and a “can do” attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team essential.
