Waitaha Primary Health are proud to work in partnership with Te Hā Waitaha (Stop Smoking Canterbury) to help clients stop smoking and lead a healthier life.
We were proud to share with Gina and Carol, our two fantastic and hardworking Stop Smoking Practitioners (SSP) today that once again data has shown that they are leading the way with the number of ‘Quit Verified’ clients. Our SSPs cover a vast part of Canterbury from Kaikoura in the North to Ashburton in the South, from Methven out to Akaroa for our Enrolled Populations and the wider Kaikoura, Waimakariri, Selwyn and Ashburton populations.
Waitaha Primary Health recognises how important the SSPs are to our health system and that is why we fund beyond the contracted position we hold to ensure that we can support Canterbury to reach the Ministry’s ambitious Smokefree 2025 target.
