Waitaha Primary Health has completed their first AGM since rebranding earlier this year.

“It was my privilege to chair the inaugural Waitaha Primary Health AGM and celebrate the successes over the previous twelve months” says Dr Lorna Martin, Board Chair of Waitaha Primary Health.

Dr Martin spoke to her Chair’s report, which you can find the link to below, in doing so she acknowledged the hard work of the entire team and indeed the wider health sector. “We have a close working relationship with the DHB, Canterbury Clinical Network and local Territorial Authorities. So it was fitting that they were all represented today at our AGM and  collectively spoke of the enduring relationships that are vital to providing first class health care to all our populations.”

We encourage you to click on the link below and download the Annual Report. Reading the variety of stories will show that our Practices, our staff and the communities we work with have a lot to celebrate having achieved and overcome so much in the 18/19 financial year.

Waitaha Primary Health, formerly Rural Canterbury PHO, has been supporting General Practices and providing community-based health services across Canterbury since 2003
